Message"We already have a problem with this treaty. Article V of the Axis Agreement states that "No Axis Nation will enter into a mutual protection pact with a Non-Axis member without an explicit cause (clause) stating that they are free from obligation to declare war on any Axis Nation."

We are also part of the Mutual Exchange and Protection Pact, whose members are Barmenistan, Pontesia, Vanuku and ourselves. None of these nations are members of the Axis Agreement and we do not have a let-out clause in the MEPP. Therefore, legally we are required to either renegotiate the MEPP, withdraw from the MEPP or not pass this treaty.

We are also disappointed that there was little to none time devoted to discussing the ratifications of this treaty, as we could have resolved this issue without the embarrassment that this blunder will bring us on the world stage."
