| We are going to try to pass this again. We believe that this is a basic freedom, and that the government is not in charge of telling who should get to defend themselves and not. Therefore we would oppose any kind of regulation on gun ownership. Criminals are the only ones getting benefits from having strict gun laws. |

Current: Adult individuals may own guns under strict license conditions.
Proposed: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.

| Message | Guns don't defend you in modern society. They just put everyone else at risk. Same thing with any weapon. The only weapon that you should use is yourself, otherwise your a coward. If you don't think your strong enough to defend yourself (ex. you think your too fat or smoke too much) find a way to get physically fit. Go to a gym or a martial arts studio and train. Not only will that help get rid of unnecessary weapons, more of the population will be in shape (which means there is less strain on the health system and on your body) there is no excuse to have a weapon. |

| Message | Pariah Idealism is not in the real world I presume. If he is, I'm completely from an other planet. First of all, criminals gets guns, even if laws saying no, they get them anyway. With the same way they do other things: They break the law.. Guns do defend you in modern society, I do not believe that some martial arts and a couple of pounds lighter would do much against an AK-47. |

If that's not the real world what is? :P There is no way to totally stop criminals from getting guns, but allow average people to have guns means making everyone a criminal with a gun.Guns don't defend you because even a gun won't stop you from getting shot. That's what bullet-proof vests are for. AK -47's are inaccurate guns and if you aren't trained professionally, you will probably kill a lot of bystanders and you might even miss who you were aiming it at. Not a smart weapon for a criminal, just so all you criminals in Lodamun know that. Many times who ever gets the first shot/punch/stab etc.will win the fight because criminals don't stick around to get shot at or caught by the cops.Therefore you won't have time to get ready. It really isn't practical to have a weapon on you because your more likely to get killed by your own weapon than someone else's. All I want is a lower casualty rate in Lodamun. |

| Message | Dude, think again. I only mentioned AK-47 just for an example. Nothing else. If you're blaiming the gun, how come there aren't mass murders at arms conventions? In my logic, some martial arts classes will never stop a man with a gun. You have no idea how many lifes guns has saved in modern society. "I GOT A GUN" usually works way before you need to shoot anyone. Gun control shouldn't apply, as guns are necessary for the people's protection against criminals which have guns no matter what. And the government if it runs amok. The only thing you favor with gun control is to support criminals. You're only making their job easier. |

| Message | I'm assuming you said "can't" well you see, many times police can't make it in time, and the criminal and the victim often fights etc. Before they get there. This could be prohibited. And in Norway, we have a "red-green" coalition, with some enviromentalism mixed up with socialism. Therefore they do not care about the police. And we actually have been having problems lately, not like we have a lot of criminality. But in the major cities such as Oslo ( Capital City ) we got more criminality than New York. |

| Message | Okay, well. The principel that we need more police forces is not very strange or unlogic at all. As it's the best way to fight crime, all we believe is that the right of the individual to defend themselves and their family if it is necessary. And if we look at the polls. Most people in America favor some gun-control, but then we're including everything from some gun-control till gun-ban. |
