Message | We can support this. In addition to being a public health hazard, it is also sexist and degrading towards women. |
Date | 05:13:01, June 26, 2008 CET | From | Union Party | To | Debating the Mordusian Morality Act |
Message | However, we also ask that a clause be added that first time or juvenile offenders be allowed to attend a faith based rehabilitation program rather than criminal penalty. (OOC: In the bill description) |

Message | We believe that the PP's proposition is an excellent idea, and that it would help misguided adolescents learn morality in religious studies, we will add this clause to the bill. |
Date | 20:52:17, June 26, 2008 CET | From | Meritocratic Justice Party | To | Debating the Mordusian Morality Act |
Message | We strongly oppose. This is not the way to tackle the prostitution problem. Regardless of its legality, people are going to sell their bodies. The real problem here is poverty. People do what they must to survive. We should takes steps toward regulating prostitution in an effort to protect these women (and men). The safety of our citizens is among the top priority for the Meritocratic Justice Party, and we feel that this is the opposite direction in which we must travel if we are to help women (and men). |
