Bill: Freedom to walk the streets

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social-Progressive Democrat Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2598

Description[?]:

Our current laws allow the local governments to estabilish curfews. We feel this is a backwards policy, and our citizens should be allowed to walk the streets freely.

We understand that under a extreme circumstances, like an invasion of our sovereign soil, such curfews could be imposed, but even in those cases only the Federal authorities should be empowered to make such a decision, never the local authorities.

MessageThe Freedom Party strongly opposes curfews of any kind. But the safety of our citizens is our first concern, so we can agree that in a "state of emergency" a curfew may be accepted. Hoping that it will never be necessary we will vote for it.
