MessageOOC:
Apparently our currency is supposed to be worth less then we generally think, so we have to increase to technically stay at the same level.

MessageIn May 2598, we are making 152,640,479,341 SEK in revenue from income taxes.

DSP is proposing an increase of 42.4% in taxes for the people. This is wrong. We have 4 billion SEK surplus! We do NOT need to raise 65 billion SEK more.

Strongly opposed.

It's an OOC thing.
Apparently our currency is'nt worth as much, IE we've pegged it between the dollar and Euro, but apparently alot of people don't like that, so our money is apparently only with half of what we think.

Now of course since the economic part of the game is faulty I've been arguing against it, but we need to be prepared.

MessageOOC: I would say we wait until the in-game mechanic is fixed, only then does it become much of an issue. Who really cares what other countries think about our country? If it's founded in role playing, then it's ours to do with as we please...

That's the thing, it most likely wont be fixed, since Wouter has essentialy stopped working on this gamwe to work on Particracy 2 fully.

And it matters since we do a fair amount of international RP, and we technically have to follow the set rules and stuff.

MessageI find it funny that we have the same number of votes, but even excluding the SIP from the voting process, the negative bar is larger...

MessageYeah, the spaces between parties take up a bit of space. I always find it weird when the side with more votes has a shorter bar. I like to see things at a glance so it really throws me off.

MessageI know. The bars are supposed to simplify things, right? Oh well.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.
