Message | Just seems strange to me. However my opinion doesn't count for much at the moment. |

Message | Also the PM being given a military authorithy is something that has only happened during this administration because of the state of emergency, and is also not included in the constitutional chain of command, so there is no need to make it official. As for the President, the proposed value just sounds like a military dicatorship, and it also just sounds weird |

Message | The President is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. If this bill passes, the PM's title will be official, meaning she will lawfully have the military authority without the possibility of it bing revoked. |

Message | no it will just be a title, no actual power is given to the PM, and should the LLp at any time regain the presidency the PM will loose all military powers given to the position under this administration, and the constitutitoanal chain of command which goes straight from president to MoD to the joint chiefs will be followed to the letter. And as for the president, the new title makes it sound like the military, not the politicans are running the country. Also, remember, we have a constitutional law that say that no members of the cabinet or the president or vp are allowed to hold military titles while in office, and both Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and First Commander of the Armed Forces are military titles. The president can be reffered to as commander in chief, but he cant take the title officially, unless the constitution is changed |

Message | When a title is given, the power is given. You will not be able to take that power away from the PM, plain and simple. If you try to override Parliament, you will immediately be impeached and removed from office. The Chain of command has been changed here (2/3 majority). So, you have no right under the law to do anything about it. The title of Commander in Chief or First Commander is not a military title because those holding the titles are not on the military payroll. If you want to make a big deal out of it like always, go ahead, I am giving you the facts. |

Message | If its not a military title then it has no military power. If it has military power its a military title, its that simple. A title is just a title, they can be symbolic too, so a title alone does not give any power, and since the constitution clearly says the chain of command goes from President to MoD, the PM is not even mentioned there, and therfore are not a part of the miltary chain of command |

Message | I will not even try to debate with you anymore. The PM has that power, simple as that. |
