Resolution in Open Parliament, December 2600 Whereas, the Kalistan Beacon was created by act of Parliament in December of 2592, and Whereas, in the following eight years, the Socialist Party of Kalistan has published 14 full articles in the paper, including 12 news pieces, 1 interview with the SPoK leader, and 1 sports article, and Whereas, in the following eight years only one other Party has written any articles or announcements, the last being seven years ago, and Whereas, no other Party has written anything in the Paper, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Kalistan that the National Newspaper, the Kalistan Beacon, be transferred entirely to the Socialist Party of Kalistan to be used as a Party Organ, to include all properties and management, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that, if at a future date, there is a call for a National Newspaper, the SPoK will help found it, to be used as a completely national paper, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all parties are still welcomed to contribute to the Beacon, as long as they like and in the spirit of freedom of the press, so long as such contributions do not contain hatred, bigotry, or malicious articles. |

Message | Well, the resolution does propose that the journal remain open for submissions from other Parties, just as long as it is not used for hate-mongering. But I figured that my articles have been rather circumspect thus far, and if it becomes a Party Organ, I can write as much apologetic subjective propaganda as I like. |
