| The Minister of Trade and Industry has sponsored a resolution to begin researching and developing new trade goods and services to begin to export. Specific areas of focus are expansion of the drug and pharmaceutical industry where our country has a comparative advantage over almost all other countries, due to our long standing legalized policies concerning drug use, to include increase in production of recreational drug supplies, with increased availability and potency. We would also like to look into exploitation of mineral resources for the production of medium grade materials, (such as the possibilities of refining our own petroleum and steel within Kalistan, if this is possible.) This Resolution calls on the Trade and Industrial Ministry to begin exploring and exploiting more of Kalistan's resources to produce exportable goods and provide a favorable balance of trade, given our new free trade agreements as well as any we propose in the future. All Parties are called to offer suggestions in the "debate period" of this resolution of things we can begin to specialize in that Kalistan will be able to export within the next ten years. |

| Message | It is one of the horrible idea to exports recreation drugs. Unfortunately Kalistan is one of the biggest exporter of drugs that are killing a lot of people or make them drug addiction. We support only ban of the recreational drugs. But Kalistan can export machine components, electronics, complete machines, trains, oils, metals, gold, silver, palladium, platinum, rhodium, alcohol and non- alcoholic beverages, fruits and vegetables (but we must provide for our consumption fully), book printing, some hi-quality woods, air plains, software, services connected with the universe, maybe financial products, but now it is impossible. |

| Message | From the Minister of Trade and Industry: We produce drugs and export them, and nobody else in the world does. There are 25 countries worldwide which have no laws regulating recreational drug use. We can produce them cheaply, efficiently, and at a huge volume, and export them to those countries which allow recreational drug use. There is no reason that we shouldn't corner the market on the thing we do best. We in the Ministry do not have the same moral problems that our comrade from the ILDA has with drugs. Drugs are not the problem: trying to destroy the black market from a police power standpoint is. If drugs were legal in every country, there would be no violence surrounding their distribution. Why shoot someone for something you can walk into any corner drug store and purchase openly? But so you are satisfied, we will recommend that drugs only be sold to places where they are legal already. This way there is no violence involved with our country improving its balance of trade. And yes, we can sell all that other stuff too, and water. |
