Bill: The Corburan Space Research and Development Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Technocrats

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2117

Description[?]:

The space that lies beyond Terra is an opportunity to move humans to next level of our species' development. To gain access to an amount resources only ever dreamt of on Terra. To achieve an understanding of our species, planet and universe that would be impossible to achieve, without exploring space. But most of all, maybe it could bring all of the peoples, nations and parties of Terra together, to lay the foundtions now that will serve the countless generations yet to come. Make this Bill, our gift from present Corburans to future Terrans.

To make outer space available to the masses, the government will run and fund a space program that will contract and oversee private space exploration companies. This will allow us to build up the infrastructure for our space industries in a relatively quick time, meaning we reap the benefits sooner and learn more quicker.
