Bill: Proposals Reform

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2603

Description[?]:

This is probably going to be a controversial "bill". I had these in Kazulia, and I have to say, they're not as abused as everyone thinks.

It allows for you to quickly change your position on something, or makes keeping your current position easier. So could you all please vote in favour?

MessageThe first arciel on itself isn't that radical, it will allow you to get 1.666667 proposals each month, in stead of the 0.833333 each month now.

The second article is a bit more radical. Right now we can only accumulate 15 proposals, which isn't a lot. If we raise this to 50 there will most likely STILL not be any abuse, because it would take 2.5 years to accumulate 50 proposals.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.

Random quote: "If voting changed anything, they'd abolish it." - Ken Livingstone
