Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2603
Description[?]:
Democratic Workers' Councils (or DWC's) are a relic of the failed ideologies of Socialism and Communism that believe that the "workers" should control all aspects of the economy despite the fact that they have no clue how to do so. In order for the glorious world of Seldonism to occur one of the things that must be done is to end the DWC's in order to restructure society into a Class Society in which everyone is altered and conditioned from birth into a specific class in society from the lowest low to the highest high. This will ensure everyone will be Happy with what they do and would be Unhappy doing anything else. Thus the Happiness of all will be assured, for all time. |

Message | We are shocked and disappointed that the Libertarian Party is supporting such restrictive legislation. We would have hoped that they, at least, would instead support allowing the continued existence of DWCs, even if they were not supported by the government. If our opposition to this should fail, we will continue to fight for the rights of the people to a more just economic system that not only does well, but good. |

Message | We are shocked as well. Even though we know they don't support the current law, this will be an attack into the so called "absolute freedom of speech." Is the Lodamun Libertarian Party changing platforms all of the sudden? |

Message | I'm insecure on this one, as I do not like tax exemptions nor subsidies being given, but I do not want them to be totally banned. |

Message | The government does not intervene in the marketplace with regards to Democratic Workers' Councils. - Is something we would support. I do not know if it is wise of us neither vote yes nor no. |

Message | The LLP has decided to support this because we strongly dislike the current policy of promoting DWCs with subsidies and tax exemptions. We would support allowing them, as long as we dont ecourage them in any way, since the LLP is against government interference in the economy, and the proposed value is a better one than the current, although not the best |

Message | After heavy consideration we in the Progress Party have decided to support this legislation. We recently had a extra ordinary party meeting, in order to adress our position. The Parliament group decided that it's better than using money on tax exemptions and subsidies. But will of course propose such an legislation that we will have the further development towards no regulation on this freedom. It was a hard case for the Progress Party to decide position on. -Sean Martinson, Chairman of Progress Party. |
