Bill: Dissolution of the Courts
Details
Submitted by[?]: Citizen's Communist Council
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2604
Description[?]:
the exercise of power in any institutionalized form brutalizes both the wielder of power and the one over whom it is exercised. We, the members of the Libertarian Socialist Collective of Sekowo, reject the notion of the state and of institutionalized authority, this includes the courts. We should not be subject to government. |

Message | The rule of law must be upheld, and since Humanity, for the most part is far to primitive to be able to live in a true Anarcho-socialist society the state must exist for the common good. |

Message | We really this bill, but would probably oppose, except by supporting we can voice our opposition to the Socialists' efforts to establish a supreme court in Sekowo. |

Message | We agree completely with the DSP. Without the court system, the police force would be powerless to enforce the law as there are no punishments. Without punishment, criminal actions would spike dramatically and likely not fall until citizens took it upon themselves to enforce "justice" on their own terms. In effect, destroying the justice system is inviting anarchy into Sekowo, and forcing every one of her citizens into a militia of sorts...defending themselves. We will never support the demolition of fair trials in favor of anarchy! |

Message | We do agree with the SIP, but shall continue to vote the way we currently are for ideological reasons. |
