Bill: Malivian Militia Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: One-Voice Party (IP)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2605
Description[?]:
The pursuance of these proposals does not necessarily mean that we don't fight back. There are other forms of offensive/defensive warfare. A better military is also suggested. For a clearer distinction of concepts: Biological weapons spread biological agents, attacking humans (or livestock) by causing disease and infection. Chemical weapons spread chemical agents, attacking humans by poisoning and causing reactions. Nuclear weapons use radioactive materials to create nuclear fission and/or nuclear fusion detonations above a target ("air-burst") or at ground-level. |

Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 12:00:01, July 13, 2008 CET | From | National Labor Party | To | Debating the Malivian Militia Act |
Message | We do not agree with any of this except for Article 6. We do not believe that the abolishment of strong weaponry would be for the benefit of our nation. |
Date | 12:29:25, July 13, 2008 CET | From | One-Voice Party (IP) | To | Debating the Malivian Militia Act |
Message | The proposed to-be-abolished weaponry are not the only available ammunition choices. If these are going to be used, it would not only affect the target country as well as ours in the long run. Anthrax is an example of a biological weapon. Was it contained solely on the target area? No. These kinds of agents are air-borne. It would not take long if it shall affect allies and our own as well. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
