Bill: Immigration Limitation

Details

Submitted by[?]: Royal Conservative Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2117

Description[?]:

1) Lodamun needs to regulate those entering its borders with intent to live here permanently. Screening individuals for critical skills and criminal records (and basing quoats on such screening) will lead to unsuitable immigrants being blocked. However Lodamun's economic and cultural need for immigrants will still be serviced.

2) In order to ensure full intergration with the Lodamun community, a course and an examination should be introduced to instruct immigrants to the fundamentals of Lodamun life. These fundamentals include the various languages of Lodamun and its history as a country. The test and the course will provided by the government.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.
