Message | This coming from the party of nuclear warfare. This coming from those who believe in bestiality and pornography in any case. This coming from those who care about animal life more than humanity. To dare call a system which promotes the best healthcare for Sekowo a crime against humanity, with the DSP's track record, is nothing short of propaganda and, simply put, proof of a complete lack of moral fiber. |

Message | 1. We only beleive in nueclea weapons use on military targetsand only as a last resort. (The ISP thing was to give us some history.) 2. We beleive in civil rights, we don't apologize for beleiving in freedom. 3. Humans are animals, and as with all animals we view Humanity and other species as equal. |

Message | So forcing the country into vegetarianism because you believe it is cannibalism? This is ridiculous. Absolutely absurd. It infringes on the ceremonies of several major religions, and is nothing less than an affront the human conscience. |

Message | ((The ISP thing is still canon, so I can still use it. |
Date | 03:26:08, July 18, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | We never called it cannibalism as cannibalism is the consumption of ones own species which is just as bas as consuming another animal species to us. OOC: Yeah, but it's sort of getting boring, plus just saying their was a reason I did it. |
Date | 03:37:50, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | OOC: Still part of the party. It doesn't matter IC. Deal with it. We also find it ironic that in this case, it gives MORE rights to animals than human beings. A hawk can still eat a robin, but a human cannot. It's merely the castration and humiliation of the human species which the DSP seems to be after. |

Message | We wonder if the DSP intends to start arresting animals which kill other animals, and lock them up in prisons? |
Date | 03:58:51, July 18, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | The difference between non-sentient animals and Sentient Animals (Humans, along with three others) is that they are not making the choice to do so on the level that Humans do. OOC: I know, just saying. |
Date | 06:02:25, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | So, we need to rob humans of choice, rob them of the one thing that makes them human? Therefore reducing them to the state of any other animal. |
Date | 06:09:36, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | It's a sad day when a beetle has more rights than a citizen in Sekowo. You can bet the international community will hear of this insanity. |

Message | Wait, whales are sentient according to you, right? So whales must be punished for all the krill they consume. |
Date | 07:26:38, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Sekowan Independent Party | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | We would like to mention that health care is not a "right" of humanity. Humans, at birth, have absolutely no rights unless they are granted rights by the land in which they live in. These rights can also be removed, or added to, by the government of that land. To claim that universal health care is a "human right" is propaganda more than anything. Humans have no rights, nor do any other animal. Survival of the fittest is, and always has been, the way the world works in every case. That said, we would agree with a universal health care system, but currently do not see the budget capable of supporting this. Taxes on vices (cigarettes, sexual objects/aids, alcohol) should be increased to help pay for the health care of the nation. That way, those who are the sickest are paying the most into the system. Otherwise, we will not support this, nor the bills to "equalize sentient species". We do not deny they are sentient, in fact quite the opposite, we agree there is intelligence there. However, if they truly seek to survive, then they must begin to fend for themselves. Having our government bottle-feed their population survival will only make their entire species weaker in the long term, and is less benefit than hindrance! Furthermore, these sentient creature are unlikely to recognize non-geographical boundaries, such as countries, and in which areas they are at risk and which areas they are not at risk. For us to lull them into a false sense of security so that the rest of the world may slay them with little effort would be cruelty to the highest order... |

Message | Whales are indeed sentient, however as krill are essentially sea insects that would not count. Apart from the tier-classed sentience system animals (I'll find the link before this goes fails) we refer to animals that are capable of thought, emotion or show any sign of some elvel of sentience. OOC: Since this is getting confusing, just assume I mean anything bigger then a mouse that has a brain. |
Date | 07:47:43, July 18, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | We increased the budget for Health & Social Services by 10 billion to cover the system. OOC: We can't actually create vice taxes, since the game only has income tax, corporate tax, essential goods tax and non-essential goods tax. |
Date | 07:58:00, July 18, 2008 CET | From | Anti-Federalists of Free Sekowo | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | "Well, in that case, I guess that rats are allowed to run free, spreading plague wherever they go, but our citizens don't have to worry, free healthcare will save them! In the case of eminent domain, we're going to encourage getting healthy rats to infest our party members' homes, so that eminent domain cannot apply, as the rats apparently have more rights than the humans in the household. These rats will serve as guardians of the home, and become not just pets, but revered comrades of the home. In case you were wondering, (since I've come to doubt the intelligence of those supporting this bill) that was sarcasm. The people of Sekowo need to have their rights taken from them like every male in Dovani needs chemical castration. It's not just wrong. It's harmful to society." --Linwood Ferguson, Radio Talk Show Host OOC: Posting this here because in the other bill, it's mainly OOC and comments from PETA (People for the Edible Treatment of Animals) |

Message | So, the Socialists would support imprisoning chimpanzees, as they regularly prey on smaller monkeys? |
Date | 04:00:52, July 19, 2008 CET | From | 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō) | To | Debating the DSP.230.2607 |
Message | Chimpanzees fall under tier three sentience, which means that in zoological institutions they would only be fed plants. For these very legal reasons preserves in which Chimpanzee populations exist smaller animals known to be the prey of chimpanzees are kept out. |

Message | So, it`s our responsibility to prevent the chimpanzee from acting in natural ways in its natural habitat, and to FORCIBLTY remove entire SPECIES from their natural habitat? |
