Message | The current system: Income Taxes Bracket > 1 GAD 99% 25,894,098,408,316 GAD Taxes EVERYONE 99% of their income. Therefore I agree that we need not torture the people, and that is why you should support this proposal. |

Message | As Finace Minister I kinda have to VETO this since if this passes we'll be 15,007,000,000,000 GAD in debt and that will mean cutting back on every goverment service, which will be chaotic. Sorry guys but this CAN'T pass, even if it is the right thing to do. |

Message | OOC: Well, you know nothing about finances and economics, I mean, if Gaduridos were a real country, no one would be living here, it would be an uninhabited land. |

Message | OCC: Well we're techincaly a communiest regime here so atchualy it would be accurate that we own all the people's wealth and distrurbute it as a whole nation. People receive nearly all main services free and sustiance tokens (kinda of like rations). Workers get untaxed bonuses realtaed to proformance to spend on luxuries. And Yes I do know about real life econmincs, but I am playing a game here. |

Message | There is communism and then there is totalitarianism. True communism should not involve the state - it should see equality develop from the bottom-up. A progressive system of taxation allows poorer people more mobility and prevents the rich from growing too strong. If you would prefer, the tax brackets can go all the way up to 99% for the richest, but not 99% for everyone. |
