Message | "What the hell is wrong with charter schools?" They're funded by the government and thus they recieve money from the government whereas the normal school in Rutania is funded only through private means. Thus this gives charter schools an uneven advantage over the schools currently in Rutania. OOC: Lakhim for trying to play a Conservative you often do a bad job. ;-) Take this from a man who used to be a flaming far-right conservative. |

Message | OOC: I live in the US, and our right wing parties generally support charter schools (besides the wingnuts). Though we do have public schooling. Oh well. Doesn't really matter because we use vouchers, which subsidize schooling anyway... However, I support charter schools for personal, not political reasons (ic) |

Random fact: Submitting a bill without any proposals in it will not attract or detract voters. It will not raise your visibility or change your political position. |
Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician |
