Bill: Call for early elections, November 2609
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Union Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: July 2610
Description[?]:
We feel that the Radical party has lost control and instead of protecting the Christians against the terrorists they have chosen to back the terrorists. This is a vote of no confidence for the president and not for the DCD,TMP or RRP who we have sympathy for. We ask that you back the bill and have your own candidates and do not back the Traitor in the next round of elections. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | This only exposes the bigotry of the Far Right - that they believe a non-partisan approach is tantamount to taking the side of the Muslims. We have always expressed our neutrality in this situation, and it is foolish to attempt to say otherwise when it will clearly be proved otherwise. This will only isolate the NUP and TNP, rather than win them support. The RP has won the respect of the DCD, TMP, RRP, DSA and LAT over many years of co-operation and mutual support. This will not be changed by the sly attacks and manipulations of the Far Right. Jan Rubenstein Party Leader |

Message | The Radical party have failed in its approach to halt the violence towards Christian. Why is it bigotry to protect our people against attacks by muslim groups. We are on the defensive and as the govt is acting in a Non-Partisan way Christians are being killed and the only people willing to protect them are the NUP and TNP. This is the failure of Liberal politicians that they make it ok for Majority groups of other groups to protect their hertiage and people. As soon as people within their own country want to take their country back it is called 'racism, intolerance and bigotry'. We are not asking for revenge or muslims to be attack we are against any violence. However we ask the government to step in and protect our people rather than pandering to a minority group. This is why we call on parties to not be scared of becoming non-PC and taking a moral stand to back the people that have elected you on their behave to protect them. Thomas Crawley Party Leader |

Message | We agree with the sentiments expressed by the NUP here, however we will need to discuss between the party how we will vote on this bill. Susan Smith, TNP Leader. |

Message | We respect that this motion is not an attack on our party, but we cannot support it as we believe President Goldmark intends to take action against all who were involved in the violence, not just the christians involved. We have faith in the President and the definitive action he proposes. We would ask that the NUP and the TNP bear with the government during this chaotic time as we attempt to end the violence which is harmful to members of our society from all religious backgrounds. Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
