Bill: Raising The Retirement Age

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Nationalists Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2610

Description[?]:

Such a long time has past since the civil war. The Zombies have been destroyed. Two new generations of Athlorcaean and Hutori citizens have been born and flourished. We feel it is time to get rid of the last memories of the civil war. People are no longer dying young, so what is the point of such a low retirement age? We feel it is time to rise it again, maybe not as high as it was before, but certainly higher than it is now.

MessagePeople often live to 150 nowadays so I'd say 120 would be a good age. But I'll support for the time being.

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action.
