Bill: Ratification of the The Axis Agreement

Details

Submitted by[?]: Coburan Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes for the ratification of a treaty. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2611

Description[?]:

The Axis Agreement If this treaty is ratified, it becomes binding and will define national law.

We urge all parties to sign up to this defensive alliance which will enable us to protect ourselves from most hostile threats. The recent examples would be prevented and hostile nations such as Delteria and Jelbenia would have to think twice about launching attacks against us.

MessageARTICLE II - No mutual protection pacts will be required for admittance into the Axis, but as a minor show of solidarity, all nations are expected to offer token aid to other Axis allies in times of hostility.

ARTICLE V - No Axis Nation will enter into a mutual protection pact with a Non-Axis member without an explicit cause stating that they are free from obligation to declare war on any Axis Nation.

Article II does not garantee us protection, article V might actually interfer any agreements with non-Axis nations we may want to enter

MessageWell, not that I object that much, just worry if it will offer the protection you think it would?

MessageOOC: SOTO is dead isn't it?

Not every nation should join the Axis. The Axis won't have anyone active to fight.

MessageThe Government of Zardugal could not possibly urge our colleagues in Cobura to ratify this treaty more. With the passage of this act our two nations linked by both borders and similar governments will become even closer with one another. The Foreign Minister of Zardugal has been in vigorous talks with emissaries from the respectable Republic of Cobura and it is commonly understood this is seem at paramount for the future of stability for both of our nations.

Edward J. Rothchild

MessageThe Axis is much better at protecting its own members than fighting wars outside of its borders. We saved Luthori long ago from invaders and even managed to bring peace to Narikaton and Darnussia.

Random fact: Large scale RP planning (such as wars, regional/continental conflicts, economic collapse, etc.) should be planned (as best as it can be) and should have consent of a majority of players involved.
