Message | The contrasting opinion is, of course, that local governments shouldn't be able to over-ride the law of the land. |

Message | Its not the law of the land if its up to local governments. And I do not believe in completely abolsihing the federal state, I am strongly against that. I just believe that the federal government should have only a small amount of power and that its main duty is national security. |
Date | 02:45:32, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative Party | To | Debating the Gambling Act |
Message | The Constitution was made to restrain the government, not to restrain the people. |
Date | 03:02:19, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Gambling Act |
Message | The Likatonian constitution wasn't made to 'restrain' either the government OR the people, but to empower both. |

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left. |
