Message | Power and Energy are national issues, and they are entrusted to the government as duties to fulfill. We cannot just throw them to the private sector. Imagine what would happen to the citizens if the companies either wage war prices against each other, or conspire together to form an oligopoly; now that would threaten national welfare. The role of private companies should remain only subsidiaries in these matters. |
Date | 06:45:25, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Socialist Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Modest economic reforms |
Message | We strongly agree with the statements by the MLP. And we stand for the national companies and that includes the right for the nation to control their own energy and management. |
Date | 08:56:57, July 24, 2008 CET | From | Green Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Modest economic reforms |
Message | We wish such reforms can be successful, but we do not want our HQ being cut from the grid just because it is located in a low-density and unprofitable neighbourhood. |
Date | 03:03:48, July 25, 2008 CET | From | Party of the Terravore | To | Debating the Modest economic reforms |
Message | This is a brilliant tactic with good will to improve both the quality of the service and the rampantly inflated cost. 'Publicly owned' power stations - which should be aproppriately addressed as government's power houses and festering inflammation of embezzlers and bureaucrats - have been draining the nation's wealth and productivity quite enough to deserve a change! |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
