Bill: Repeal of Imperial Offices

Details

Submitted by[?]: Saiserist Consortium

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2613

Description[?]:

Movement to repeal the "Imperial Offices" bill. Really, I believe we already did away with this when we destroyed the Constitution, but for good measure we might as well do it again.

Imperial Offices bill - http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=168110

The movement I propose will eliminate the positions of Chancellor and Prime Minister, as well as all titles of nobility. The royalists can call themselves whatever they like but after this but they are no longer "above" any of their fellow Aldurians.

Will pass with 1/2 majority.

MessageOOC: No, it requires 2/3s. Teddy I told you that several times. It is a Constitutional admendment. Which is the same as all the others which is 2/3s. For that reason you can't get rid of it with 1/2. Sorry, but I told you this several times.

MessageOOC: Due to the fact that you guys only destoryed the cover of the government, you still lack the necassary 2/3s to destroy the bills that formed its foundation. Which includes the Emperor, this, and several other bills I got passed before the Imperial Constitution. If you ever get 2/3s I will be glad to point them all out to you. But even with this gone, the Chancellor position will still exist due to two other bills. Yet this can't be destroyed for you don't have 2/3s.

It will be law, should it pass.

MessageDue to the fact that when the bill passed it said will require 2/3s to take down, it will be in effect until you have 2/3s to take it down.

MessageSorry, but you will still have to follow the laws that require 2/3s. The Constitution was the final form of all these, but other bills were made before it that spelled out certain jobs. They are 2/3s votes. This is only one of many that had the formation of certain positions. If the Emperor is dethroned, then all that goes null, due to the Chancellor being approved by the Emperor and the HoG. so end the Emperor, you end all the other bills, but to take the bills one by one requires 2/3s anyway, so both ways require 2/3s.

MessageHe did not write it, and he did not vote on the passing of the original. I did, and I know what I wrote in that bill. It takes 2/3s, he did not ask me, and I told him several times it would require 2/3s.

I and every IA member will not stand by and allow you to break the laws that this Senate passed. It requires a 2/3s vote to end.

MessageWhether you like it or not that is how it is. I am sorry, but it passed saying that. so unless you get 2/3s, no it stays in effect, and I will keep the bill as an active bill.

MessageFirst of all, I already believe we repealed this when we repealed the Constitution, because this is an add-on to the Constitution. Second of all, repealing an act has always required 1/2, not 2/3. I know you think you know everything but you are quite simply wrong. WRONG. GTFO YOU LOSE. WRONG.

MessageOOC: TEDDY I WROTE THE DAMN BILL, I KNOW WAHT IT TOOK TO MAKE IT. YOU ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO PLAY, AND WHEN WE PASSED THIS BILL, IT SAID THAT IT TOOK 2/3S TO PASS AND 2/3S TO REMOVE. I AM SORRY IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT BUT IT IS WHAT THIS SENATE VOTED ON. LIKE IT OR NOT YOU ARE WRONG TEDDY. READ MORE AND YOU WILL DISCOVER THAT YOU ARE WRONG. Try actrually finding the original bill. Not like it matters, beacuse there are two other bills which have the same things in them. Thus even if you get 2/3s by this, these offices still exist. SO WRONG.GTFO YOU LOSE. WRONG!!!!

MessageOOC: So you can write whatever the fuck you want on this bill, but it still requires 2/3s. That is how it was written and that is how it was passed. The Constitution was nothing more than a bill that summed up all the bills before you came. I should know I wrote them all and pushed them throw, you just showed up when the Constitution was passed. For that reason Teddy you can say all you want for this being over at 1/2, but those of us that play this game by the rules, and with respect for the voting of this Senate will keep following that bill, until you get 2/3s. Those are the rules like it or, and nothing can chnage the cold hard fact of that.

MessageIf you manage to pass this and all titles of nobility are banned I will personally make sure that you are sanctioned by the HIA. If this goes further I may press for invasion. I don't like the look of this.

OOC: Look, most of you republicans are new parties. Listen to the older one. He knows.

MessageReally does not matter, considering that there are two more bills just like this. I and the IA will still say the Chnacellor exist along with the titles. The Republic forces and wine all they want, but it requires 2/3s whether they like it or not.
