Bill: Sturm und Drang - New World Order (iv)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Commonwealth Workers Army
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2613
Description[?]:
This bill serves two important purposes. 1) To demilitarise Likatonia. This is a peaceful nation. Every time we are NOT peaceful, bad stuff happens. 2) Zhelezo Immeressen is obviously the One True God, to still be having this argument in this day and age is ridiculous. Immeresence MUST be treated appropriately. The One True God, the One True Religion - and anyone who doesn't worship Immeressen above any meager idol should get the hell out. They'd probably be welcomed in some godless state, like Lodamun. |

Message | One of the worst assortments of ridiculous proposals we have seen to date. When Tyler MacNeill was asked for a response to the proposal put forth by the SuDP, he replied only with, "Not a chance in hell." |

Message | We also wish to ask the SuDP why they are proposing legislation that would increase the religious activity in our nation, when they are members of the International Secularist Society? What kind of hypocrisy is this? |
Date | 09:42:54, July 28, 2008 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Sturm und Drang - New World Order (iv) |
Message | Innocente Immeressen released teh following statement: "There is no hypocrisy. Wea re in favour of international secularism. We are in favour of secularism in Likatonia. However, when the One True God walks the corridors of the Convocation, it is ridiculous to try to separate Church and State. Immeressen IS the state. We're still all for secular government - but pretending there isn't an elephant in the middle of this room would be nonsensical." |
