Message | how are you legitimizing this as a secular agenda rather than evidence of anti-religious bias? |
Date | 20:28:57, July 28, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Religion Taxation Act |
Message | Secularism is often confused with Anti-religious. We can assure you secularism has nothing to do with being anti-religious. Religions cannot get any special treatment. If they make profits, they should be taxed like ANY other company is. |

Date | 21:20:34, July 28, 2008 CET | From | The Liberal Party | To | Debating the Religion Taxation Act |
Message | The last time we checked, if you make profits, you are taxed on them. Please give us a reason as to why religions should be an exception to that? |
Date | 12:17:02, August 01, 2008 CET | From | Democrats | To | Debating the Religion Taxation Act |
Message | Because they are not a company seeking a profit. Certain churches may end the financial year with a surplus, but they should not be penalised for this. |
