Description[?]:
We believe that in today's society, people expect too much out of their partner when they get married, and as soon as they find a flaw, they get scared and start wondering if they should have married that person. Which is ridiculous. Because there is no such thing as a perfect spouse, and there is no such thing as love at first sight. Love is something you must work together with your spouse to achieve. You do not just meet someone and know you love them. That is garbage, and the only thing people really mean when they say that is "sexual urge at first sight", which has absolutely nothing to do with true love, and is really just a lack of self-control. And is the reason there are so many divorce's in today's society, and also the reason people are too scared to get married, and don't end up starting families until they are well past their age, or don't start a family at all. They spend too much time trying to get to know somone, or someone's, before they make a commitment, because they want that person to be perfect, which is not at all realistic. True love is the willingness to work with someone to achieve a strong relationship, not because that person is everything YOU want, but because you love that person, and care more about pleasing that person than yourself. After giving that information, we would like to propose that local governments regulate divorce policy, because local regions would best know their problems concerning divorce's, and will be able to make laws that suit their needs. |
