Proposed for the benefit of each Solentia to optionally follow the State Religion and to be granted free choice to follow a religion. This bill establishes an optional National Official State Religion. Article 1- There shall be a National Religion and membership is voluntary. Article 2- The National Religion shall be the "Amalgamated Church of Solentia" and shall consist as an alliance of the three major religions so as to allow the maximum choice for Solentians. Article 3- The Supreme President shall be the Head of the Church and shall be responsible for organising it’s affairs. Article 4- The Supreme President shall be aided, advised and supervised in this role by the "Triad Council". Article 5- The Council shall consist of One member of the Xzarin Catholic Church, One member of the Holy Traditionalist Church (Orthodox Catholic) and One member of the Solentian Orthodox Church. Article 6- Each member of the Triad shall be given one vote each. A unanimous vote of 3 is required for them to make a decision concerning religion. Article 7- This vote requires more than half of the legislature to vote in the affirmative in order to become law and more than three quarters of the legislature to vote yes in order to become binding. Article 8 - Removal of this bill requires three quarters of the legislature to vote in the affirmative of such a proposal. |
