Message"What's wrong with treaties?

Afraid that other nations will become aware of how the Interloper Regime is raping Likatonia for profit?"

Message"That was IT?

The TCP brought this before the Convocation, threw it to the vote... and that was the WHOLE scope of the argument? Did anyone at the TCP even READ the treaty?

We're not signed to many treaties, in Likatonia - we have a long history of remaining uninvolved in the bulk of the political wrangling, and an even longer history of opting out of treaties that would limit our abilities to set laws.

The "Three Nation Territorial And Economic Alliance" doesn't restrict our ability to set internal laws - it is constitutionally non-binding. If there is a problem with that particular Treaty, it is only that Keymon has allowed it to lapse. Our Head of Government, or Minister for Foreign Affairs should be contacting them to try to correct that.

If the current Minister of Foreign Affairs is incapable of, or unwilling to, push this agenda item with Keymon, they should relinquish the position to someone who WILL get it done.

For shame, TCP!"

MessageThe Spenocratic Minister of Foreign Affiars has to agree with the Sturm und Drang Party in this issue.

We believe that international government is HORRIBLE. We will vote against any attempt at restricting us to rule our nation.

But we also realize that this is just a "Friendship Pact". We have nothing against making allies. In fact, we may be making further alliances in the future.

We rarely disagree with the Traditionalists - and we are sad to do so - but we dont want to start a war at the moment.

Message"In a time of revelations, we are somewhat surprised to find ourselves siding with the Spenocrats on this issue. We savour it almost as much for it's rarity, as for it's importance to Likatonian international diplomacy."

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
