Bill: Ecology

Voting deadline: May 2619
Description[?]:
SHH is appalled at the Ecological Freedom bill that passed in May 2616. As the Aos Party argued in their August 2617 bill to reverse it, a) killing animals must be regulated to ensure that it is done humanely and hygienically, and b) unregulated trade in exotic animals invites disease into the nation. It's also simply ludicrous to not enforce any pollution prevention, which is the surest way to cause health problems and lawsuits to skyrocket. Finally, as an aside, lobbies representing Selucia's Christian, Muslim, and Jewish minorities (7%, 7%, and 1% respectively) have asked us to make it known that they take offence at the Moral Majority's interpretation of (what in the Christian Bible is called) Genesis 1:28. The lobbies say it gives mankind responsibility for the earth, not ownership, and it certainly does not mention rape. They have chosen as their rallying point this passage: "Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?" (Job 38:4). |

Message | The liberals are making fake polls! Its a conspiracy! This bill was passed by the people. Our share of the Senate went up after I passed the Ecological Freedom act! You liberals are destroying our country. The Bible is interpreted differently by different people. You chose the liberal church's interpretation. Most Christians voted for our party. |
