Message | Mr. Speaker, We ask that Article I be amended to "All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military." I yield. |
Date | 21:19:48, August 11, 2008 CET | From | Imperial Conservative Union (IA) | To | Debating the Military Reforms |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Not everyone is cut out to be in the military, so why not offer the second choice. |
Date | 23:30:31, August 11, 2008 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Military Reforms |
Message | Mr Speaker, Article II would make a mockery of the His Imperial Majesty's Crown Forces. There is no room for political correctness when it comes to the Defence of the Realm, sir. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, May I again remind the honorable councilman from the Covenanters that it states, "discrimination for racial or religious reasons is prohibited" that has nothing to do with quotas or any other positive discrimination, a most horrible scheme, nor discrimination along physical lines. It simply prohibits racism and sectarianism, we fought a war over this, I won't see this country fight another one for the same reason. I yield. |
Date | 01:27:21, August 13, 2008 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Military Reforms |
Message | * Major-General William Baillie rises: Mr Speaker, Article II constitutes political interference in the operational running of His Majesty's Armed Forces: this is completely unacceptable to us. |
Date | 01:42:21, August 13, 2008 CET | From | Neo-Imperial Peoples Vanguard Party (IA) | To | Debating the Military Reforms |
Message | Mr. Speaker, This has become a different kind of debate, that I did not sign up for, a debate on discrimination and racism a debate that will lead to divisiveness and inevitably civil war. I yield. |
