Message | This bill seems to defeat the purpose of a ban on human cloning...which is to end the question of where and when the government will interfere with the process. So this bill could allow the creation of "Super slaves", or men who have been cloned off some particularly productive worker. Once these gates have been opened.....they become very difficult to close again, because of some entrenched group or another. It's better to not open up such things at all. |

Message | This will never allow "super slaves" because it still disallows cloning complete humans. It does, however, leave room for cloning single organs for use in transplants, as well as the cloning of, say, stem cells for research and use. |

Message | The previous legislation says specifically that "the cloning of human beings is illegal ." If you're replacing that with something else, it must mean that cloning of human beings is now allowed. |

Message | Regulations imply that they are not completely legal, either. We would be able tp clone human organs, or body parts. One still could not clone a complete body. |

Message | And then only if a licence is granted. |
