Message | Sekowo is no more special then any other nation, we may respect the tenants of freedom and democracy more then some others, but we are not better then anyone else. As to the issues; -We do not support censoring foreign media in any way as it lets our citizens see how corrupt some is and how truthful others are. -We are opposed to de factro allowing torture and slavery just because another nation does. |
Date | 19:50:03, August 16, 2008 CET | From | Sekowan Independent Party | To | Debating the Sekowo Sovereignty |
Message | Thoughts on the issues: - Regulation on media content of an explicit (sexually, verbally, etc) nature should be considered for underage audiences. Otherwise, media content regulation is undesirable. - Prisoners of War should be treated as our own prisoners are treated. They should expect to have sanitary conditions and a safe environment. They should be safe from starvation or exposure to the elements. That about sums up their rights... |

Message | Of course regulation would be the exact same for foreign media as for our own, and Sekowo does not censor media for political content, etc. We agree with the second point entirely - they should be treated exactly as our own prisoners. |
