--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This is a truly momentous time for our proud Federation. With the recent elections the confidence of the people of Zardugal and a majority of all parties within our Federation supported once more the tenure of the F.R.P. as the steward party of this government and nation. We are closely approaching the fiftieth anniversary of both the F.R.P's tenure as Lord Marshall but, as well the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of a nation that lives up to its name and heritage of freedom and liberty unto all.

Many of the parties within the Directorate are unaware and now even a generation of the once vile and despotic nation Zardugal had become. Ravaged domestically by ideologically driven parties of hatred, racial supremacy and chaos. This reflected in every town and city across our Federation. These vile criminals were put into check with the ushering in of Lord Marshall Tarquin Vortigon. Under his tenure and the following tenure of Lord Marshall Cyril Kladiv this nation endured a brutal civil war brought upon us by the aforementioned factions.

It should be quite clear whose ideals wound up on top, as it were. We are drawing nearer by the hour to fifty years of the independence of the media, markets and industry. The emancipation of minorities, women and those who do not share the same skin hue as others. Fifty years of peace and prosperity. The Federal Republican Party nor its past leaders can take sole credit for these accomplishments. It has been a long and arduous road. It is the parties of this fair nation that have held to that judgment that the F.R.P. will continue to lead as it has. Our thanks and the thanks of this nation could not be more felt.

Furthermore, it is my duty as Lord Marshall to keep the Directorate informed of issues of importance. What is of a matter of interest now is two-fold. Mainly, the Federal Republican Party will be supporting our current Minister of Foreign Affairs Hadrian Kostandian as the next candidate for the office of head of state. As well, Minister Rowlins will be retiring from public-service entirely. His retirement was accepted with much sadness. Minister Rowlins was one of the founding members of our party and instrumental in the rise and continued success of the F.R.P. Minister Rowlins will serve out his final term naturally. Our nation will truly be sad to see Minister Rowlins leave the affairs of public office.

Secondly, I have asked Director-General Novotny to begin working with our fellow parties to form a coalition government. The Federal Republican Party has worked closely with a majority of the parties within the Directorate and has great faith in many of the members of these respectable organizations. It is with this in mind I have charged her to allow for a nomination process by the Chairman of our fellow parties as a means to form this coalition government. If the coming days Director-General Novotny shall be commencing with this process.

Once again, it is this nation and parties eternal thanks to those who have continued to see the Federal Republican Party continue to lead Zardugal further down the path of prosperity, liberty and freedom. I thank the Directorate for its time today as well. Be it known in my remaining term I shall be very keen to dialogue with all members of the Directorate; as the F.R.P. has always been. If there is ever an issue of importance that plagues the mind of any of our colleagues I would nearly demand you bring this to the attention of the appropriate Ministry or even to myself. Thank you.

Former Lord Marshall of Zardugal,
Edward J. Rothchild"

OOC: I left that thread open long enough and no one messaged me or said a word. So, I really don't want to hear a bunch of whining now given that. As well, apologies to P.A.P. but, you appear to have gone inactive-again. And welcome SoDar into the cabinet!

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.

Random quote: “Their cheap talk of the 'greater good' is a thinly concealed excuse for subordinating the people to the institutionalized violence that is the state.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician
