Message | Why not let local governments be in charge of this? Much more economical. |

Message | No, we don't think so. This should be implemented nationwide. |
Date | 05:36:55, August 28, 2008 CET | From | Militärregierung - Alte Kämpfergruppe | To | Debating the Wasser Gesetz |
Message | What's the difference between having a "range" of standards and allowing local governments the ability to create their own "range" of standards? Each will inevitably have a "range" of standards; it seems unnecessary then to have the central government create the "range". |

Message | This should have a national priority and not something the regional Government can deviate from. |

Random quote: "In Germany they first came for the Communists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up." - Pastor Martin Niemoller |
