Bill: Constitution Revision

Details

Submitted by[?]: Heimdall Global Security - Beiteynu HQ

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2628

Description[?]:

A revision on some of the provision that we feel out of date on the current constitution.

Article 1: The internationally recognized ages for adulthood is 18 and we firmly believe that Beitenyu should accept this change in order to move forward.

Article 2: 60 Months is clearly too long and we would like to increase direct democracy in the country. (OOC: 60 Months is also a really long time in game.....)

MessageWe could support a more moderate article 2 changing the age to 16, providing it did not disenfranchise those who had already become adults, and will support article 3, however we cannot support this with article 1 included.
