Message | The CPD can agree with all of these articles, except number 3. Article 3 keeps the military, a military of the people. And not an elite squad of the kind of people who seek military poewr. That would not be the kind of people we want in control of guns. |
Date | 13:18:03, October 01, 2005 CET | From | Marchioness Party | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | But surely, the CPD would not like to see the less fortunate of our citizens forcing their sons and daughters into service when they can least afford it, financially, socially, emotionally. The MP believes that it the choice of the individual to serve in military or civilian service. |
Date | 13:22:44, October 01, 2005 CET | From | National Socialist Party of Deltaria | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | We will oppose, bitterly. |
Date | 14:38:46, October 01, 2005 CET | From | Doron Akigansk Kommunist Parti (MLN) | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | Has the MP read the bill? If they join the military, they will be paid. Furthermore, having a professional military is an incredibly dangerous thing for democracy. The CPD can't support it. And will oppose the rest of the bill too, if it is not removed. |
Date | 01:21:24, October 02, 2005 CET | From | Marchioness Party | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | Although the MP does not want to see Deltarian's children possibly forced to fight in war they do not agree with, it will remove the proposal, at the request of the CPD and pray that our great nation in never forced into a situation of war. |
Date | 01:26:12, October 02, 2005 CET | From | Doron Akigansk Kommunist Parti (MLN) | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | This proposition ensures that the children of legislators who approve war, must be thought of as well. There will be no such thing as a free war for our nation's legislators. I would say the likelihood of war, is significantly decreased. |
Date | 03:44:03, October 03, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Party of Deltaria | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | Supported. |
Date | 16:14:19, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Sedliacke Povstanie | To | Debating the Military Reform Act |
Message | Deltarian's children to fight a war they don't agree with? Doubtful. If they grow up with all our Deltarian pride. The TPD would prefer to keep the bills as they are, for the perfect safety of our nation and its citizens. |
