Bill: Income tax proposal of May 2631
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2632
Description[?]:
The Conservative Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the United Republics of Saridan. This proposal goes with our new spending plans, which aims to boost the role of government by ensuring it can fund what it is committed to fund. The first three articles are controversial, but we feel that corporations should be taxed on their profits, and that sales taxes are a valid way of raising revenue. We need to raise around 950 Billion, however we are unsure if the proposed tax changes do this, thus there may be tax rises in the future. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
