MessageDespite the fact that the SIP originated the legislature for police officers, requiring that they receive training in lethal firearm usage before wielding said firearms, we will support this bill. We agree with the civilian firearm legislation, and the police firearm legislation can work so long as we ensure proper training of all officers of the law.
