Bill: Make Our Country More Unique Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Labour Party of Telamon
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2635
Description[?]:
I remember when this country was known as the Telamon Commonwealth and had Cantons instead of states. We should change them back to make our great nation more interesting. ;-) Also, if this bill passes, the name shall be changed to Telamon Commonwealth with admin approval though the forum (it's possible, I think). |

Message | It's not much of a change. I don't think I would vote for this simply because I would seek more of a change. Keir Hardie Chairman of the LSP |

Message | Efforts to change constitutional titles and names serve only to distract the public away from the need to overthrow the capitalist system. We are ambivalent about all this. Albert Brocklehurst (General Secretary of the Telamonese Communist Party) |

Message | Onward Telamon, not the Commonwealth! We are known fighters against anything "Commonwealth". It will reduce our country's power, grant Migadon a greater level of independence! It is known how Telamon was when it was a Commonwealth, how national minorities were segregated! Down with the Commonwealth! Down with the Commonwealth! Message | The TNP would only be in favour of reform towards a Monarchy, we do not want to see a Commonwealth but a United Kingdom of Telamon. Margaret Jones TNP Leader. |

Message | You accusations of incivility are ungrounded, Mr. Crnobrnja. Please explain what was remotely uncivil about my comment. I did not name call, I did not speak profanely, in fact I did not even attack any member of this Parliament. If simply disagreeing with you is grounds for you to accuse me of being less than civil, then I would suggest you have a twisted definition of the word. Daunte Woodson Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
