Sekowo has to protect the interests of legitimate religions. Sekowo has to be careful of allowing religions that stand against Sekowo to roam freely in our great nation with the intent of destroying it. The government has a duty to protect its people from hazards caused by troubled people. Resolution 1: ------------------ Upon acceptation of this bill, a list of recognized religions (religions that do not intent harm on Sekowo and are represented by a noticeable percentage of the population based on census results) will be created and maintained on a 5-year basis. Resolution 2: ------------------ Even though recognized religions are not taxed, the organizations must submit an income tax form at 0% for scrutiny by the Ministry of Finance to prevent abuse and exploitation of the law. Organizations that abuse this law will face tax fraud charges in which, if which found guilty, the criminal will be taxed the full amount plus interest and criminal charges with up to 5 years in jail for every year found guilty of committing tax fraud. Resolution 3: ------------------ Should a school choose to allow prayers in a classroom, it must a positive prayer from a recognized religion. Hatred or discrimination is not permitted. |

Current: There is no official state religion, but the government only allows recognized religions. 'Cults' are persecuted.

Message | The SGP would support these measures. Article 1 will be fine with us (even though we supported the original change) with the introduction of Article 4. Articles 2 & 3 are also fine with us because only those with approval will be able to benifit from these articles. |

Art. 3; Who''s to decide what religion can and cannot be recognized, further more many religions teach nothing but lies, hate and intolerance, we cannot allow them to be unregulated. Art. 4; Who's to say what's a religion and a cult, no this would only lead to persecution against people based on beliefs. |
