Description[?]:
The conflict in Alduria (http://www.takeforum.com/particracy/viewtopic.php?t=10516&start=60&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=&mforum=particracy) has caused great concern among our generals about a possible spillover of the fighting into Rildanorian territory. The integrity of the state must be upheld at all costs. Like with all conflicts, we cannot always stay neutral, especially with respect to an immediate neighbour with whom we have historical, social, cultural, and religious ties. Aldurian republicans have been aggressive and undemocratic in their violent pursuit of monarchists and their property, and have been on a few occassions unfriendly towards Rildanor. We propose to support, logistically and militarily, the monarchist forces of Alduria, of which we believe will be much more friendly and cooperative with Rildanor. PROPOSALS: 1. Provide military support and supplies to monarchist forces. 15000 regular and support forces troops will enter Alduria's Zanyal Valley and, if able, take over a major city to establish an operational base for the launching of future reinforcements. 2. A mobilization of the entire Rildanor forces to the cantons of Nirald and Morbanack and organize their defence 3. The severing of diplomatic ties with Aldurian republicans and an official establishment with monarchists 4. Official government policy towards the war is conditional and is based on reasonable expecations of rewards by the Aldurian monarchists concerning territory on the continent of Squibble |

Message | We refuse to get involved in the matters of neighboring nations. What they choose to have as their government is their business, not ours. |

Message | Conflicts in neighbouring nations are bound to draw us in and we must take control of the situation before millions of refugees appear on Rildanor's door. Also, this is a good chance for Rildanor to expand its territory on Squibble in exchange for offering our help to the monarchists. |

Message | The people of Alduria rejected their monarch, we see no legitimate reason to impose him upon them. |

Message | Also, why would we invade Kanjor? That's a patently stupid move. |

Message | Clarify, that the people want the monarch back now. The Republic lied to them, ruined their economy and nation, and stole from them. The people are in outrage and are the ones calling the HIA and coup forces to free them from it. Not to mention that if you would ever read up on your neighbors history, you would discover that the Republic Empire has been the most free and the best government Alduria has ever had. This Republic was nothing more than a false image to hide the power hungry politicians that stole from the people. We are giving it back. However the War is almost over, but we are still of need help rebuilding the nation after the War. Any help however would still be welcome. Foreign Minister, Field Marshal Noventa |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
