Regardless of whether this bill passes or not, it would be unfair of us to allow the SIP's stance on the matter affect the whole of Sekowo. That was the reason we brought this to vote, not because we wanted to see it pass. |

Of course, we like everyone else are voting no as we consider Deltaria to be an illegitimate and dangerous rogue state that has, as has been pointed out, has not only tried to invade Dovani before, but has been responsible for numorous atrocities including genocide, widespread human rights abuse, crimes against humanity and kidnap of diplomats at an international function. |

However, this treaty is not just one of friendship or closer diplomatic ties; it implies that Sekowo would be a mere province of a tyrannical foreign government to which all Sekowans would have to pay allegiance and taxes. We find it distasteful that such a bill even sullies the legislative history records. Whoever proposed this to the SIP is obviously an enemy of our nation who bears us neither respect nor goodwill. |
