| Name Change: "Imperial Republic of Alduria" This is the offer Empress Josephine made in her speech. Really this struggle will only win when we finally both agree to make it happen. This is that chance. Everyone wins. Everyone gets what they want. Terra the Emperor, Viceroy People get theirs, and the elected people get theirs. Let’s end this now, so those of us who are tired of arguing can start to lick the wounds and maybe start working for the better instead of imposing our demands and views on others. Part from her speech. The solution is for a 4 branch system. The Royal Branch, The Executive Branch, the Legislature branch, and the judicial branch. The Royal Branch: The Emperor shall be a ceremonial HoS, with the power to appoint a Viceroy to act as him in Alduria. The Viceroy is the head of all those that earn titles, and is basically there to perform the duties that the Emperor would do, such as giving the stamp on a bill. However the Viceroy has no say in what happens, even though he may propose a bill, and may gain seats through an election, he has no power outside of that. Thisa allows the monarchist to be happy, while the next branch allows those that are no monarchist to also be happy. The Executive Branch The Real power of Executive branch shall lie in the Consul (Or whatever title they choose). He shall be elected by the people, and shall have a term of whatever the nation chooses. The Legislature Branch: Same The Judicial Branch: Same -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The majority here wants the Josephine plan, and many of us are just here to spite the others. The Civil War is over, the majority of the parties here want the plan, which If I may remind you is not a monarchy, but is ELECTED BY THE PEOPLE, and stop all this constant fighting that is getting people nowhere. Come next election, we all know what will happen, the majority of the monarchist side will get many seats due to the new parties views coming down to normal. We know that in the end the only way all of this will end is if we bite our wishes, and go with a plan that is fair to everyone. Let’s end this crap and get on with playing the game again, for I know I am not the only one here who is tired of this crap. I want to leave, but until I finish my promise, I will stay. Until a government is up that all sides agree with, then we will continue this pointless and quite frankly stupid arguing and fighting all for a nation that ever since all this mess started has continued to go down the hole. For the sake of the nation, let’s end this and bring the people together. Let’s end this fighting and rebuild. COMPROMISE!!! What the majority of the parties here have been shouting, so let’s do it and be done with it. For all you know, Republic side, you could end up making the Viceroy a nobody if you keep holding the Consulship. But let’s end this crap and start working for the greater good, and not our own wishes. |

Yes the coup I pushed, but that was suppose to be just for fun. Now it is full War, and was before I got here. I did not start. Plus, why would I put this to vote now, knowing you will say NO, and knowing Teddy will say no just because it is not what you want. The SSS I don't know they might agree that the best way to end the fighting and bickering and for the sake of the people is to go along. | Message | OOC: By law, she is technically monarch, and can claim the title of Alduria. England never controlled France, however the monarch was still called the King of France, because they had claim to the throne. She has a right to, and a majority of the nations in Terra support the ARE more than your confederation. OOC2: Read my words. I never force any of my friends to do something they don’t want to do, because you can't force anyone to do what they don't want to do. So due to that statement, I have never forced my friends to do any thing they did not want to do. The Communist pissed me off when they decided to not follow the script we decided on. | Message | You seem to be under the illusion that a mere majority of parties means that the people have anointed them as their representatives. The opposite is true, in fact. The fact that the people rejected every single monarchist party in the last elections is indicative of an equally strong rejection of your platforms of monarchy, injustice and moral equivocation. In my observations, it has been the blind persistence of the monarchist parties who have turned the once-great nation of Alduria into a land of death and sorrow. It has been the power-hunger of the monarchists who wish to return the nation to the aristocrats and remove all power from the hands of the people. You cannot claim to speak for the people when you so plainly speak for the rich and the few. The people of Alduria have our support now.
