Message | As with any significant economic change there will be adjustments to be made. We would prefer to introduce this at a moderate level initially and observe the impact on the economy. Once the minimum wage has been generally accepted it can be raised gradually if that seems appropriate. |

Message | The Government must provide incentives for people to go out and get a job. If the wage doesn't cover what that person needs, then they are just going to become a burden on the state. That's why we support this measure. |
