Bill: Imperial Statute (b)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2641

Description[?]:

CONSIDERING that the Imperial Alliance has successfully achieved widespread support in every Aldurian constituency;

CONSIDERING that the key platform plank of the Imperial Alliance is the return of the Crown of Alduria;

CONSIDERING that Alduria is experiencing a monarchical restoration process by popular mandate;

CONSIDERING the misgovernment and lawlessness caused by the republicans, and that the re-establishment of the Monarchy is the only sensible way to bring back security and direction to Alduria;

BE RESOLVED that:

1. The Empress Josephine I of Alduria and Luthori shall momentarily take the post as Head of Government;
2. The Empress shall exercise her duties through an Imperial Viceroy;
3. The post of Head of State is hereby declared transitorily vacant until the Empress can take office as Head of State, either through elections and/or through constitutional amendment;
4. The post of Imperial Viceroy is momentarily vested upon William Baden while Her Majesty is serving as Head of Government, and permanently upon Adam Boeger once Her Majesty retakes her position as Head of State;
5. The Head of State’s title shall be “President Empress” until the required supermajority is achieved to fully reinstate monarchical institutions and symbols;
6. When circumstances demand it, all the members of the Imperial Alliance have the duty to participate and/or support an Imperial Cabinet under the rules of proportional representation and customary arrangements;
7. All the members of the Imperial Alliance hereby express their commitment to the Crown, by endorsing Her Majesty and her Imperial Viceroy Adam Boeger for the post of Head of State in general elections and/or through the subsequent constitutional amendments, and by the enforcement of this Statute;
8. The Imperial Alliance is granted the royal prerogative to pass, amend and repeal Statutes intending the Monarchical Restoration.

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself.

Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary
