Bill: Tax Break

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mordusian Austrian Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2642

Description[?]:

The government simply has gotten far too large for any civilized person to respect. Therefore, we propose to cut the enormous sales tax on goods in order to liberalize economic growth, permit those less fortunate to get by more comfortably, curb government growth, and eliminate the immoral federal surplus.

While 2% is not much, any large change will damage the economy, which we find unacceptable. Therefore, we will phase it out lower and lower until a balance between the so-called "necessary" government functions can be sustained, so theft is minimalized.

MessageWhile we appreciate tax breaks in general, we must oppose as these taxes would not permit us to maintain our military.
