Message | For a party that supports enviornmental measures, Sekkyoku, I'm surprised you'd vote against the proposal on nuclear power. Alternative energy, don't you want that for the people? Clean energy, pretty good for you. |
Date | 23:41:17, September 22, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |

Message | We do not support nuclear power. We support the other, more safe and secure, alternatives. |
Date | 00:51:26, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Nuclear power is, by and large, safe and secure. Unlike water and tidal power, which harm the environoment in huge ways |
Date | 01:08:49, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Königstreue Sozialdemokrat 社会民主 | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Hydropower does not harm the environment. Hydropower is also not possibly dangerous like nuclear power. A meltdown could contaminate a whole area for years and cause sickness for hundreds of people. In very hot weather, nuclear power plants sometimes even have to completely have to shut down because of the way they operate. Nuclear power is simply unsafe and should not be allowed. |
Date | 01:13:34, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative's Party | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | The "old days" of the FAP were a rule by the majority, who used their power to rule with an iron fist. We disagree with every article in this bill. |
Date | 01:19:35, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Hydropower relies on flooding or otherwise damaging vast areas of water-side environment. There has been one nuclear meltdown in recorded history... |
Date | 01:23:28, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Traditional Conservative's Party | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Well, almost every article... |
Date | 01:24:27, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Königstreue Sozialdemokrat 社会民主 | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Hydropower first of all just if it relied on flooding would not mean it harms the environment; flooding is a natural thing. Secondly, hydropower uses the force of flowing water to create power, not floods. |
Date | 01:27:10, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Flooding by dams is not natural And it requires vast reservoirs, flooding environmentally sound areas, to work |
Date | 01:36:37, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Königstreue Sozialdemokrat 社会民主 | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | Creating a reservoir does not harm the environment. Yes it does "flood" some unused land, but other than that, it does nothing harmful. |
Date | 02:00:48, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Konstitutionelle Monarchie Partei | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | I say we get our power from the sun damn you! Um, I mean yes Nuclear Power can lead the way for this great nation for alternative energy. Nuclear Energy will just have to be the stepping stone for future projects, this is what we have to work with, let's take advantage of it. |
Date | 02:11:37, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | That unused land is enviromentally sacremount, often preserving vast areas of swamp or marshland, a fertile habitat for many species otherwise driven extinct by the flooding of their homes. You seem to have no idea what the environment is, it includes small areas of land, not just such things as global temperatures and human wellfare. |
Date | 23:37:01, September 23, 2008 CET | From | Wiedervereinigten Nationalisten | To | Debating the Re-Introduction of the FAP |
Message | We oppose this bill, and although we strongly support nuclear energy, we feel that this proposal would adversely affect our nation's economy and we prefer to leave this matter to local governments, on the basis of local government empowerment. |
