Bill: Call for early elections, December 2641

Details

Submitted by[?]: Drtárék Jelbék Prta

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: August 2642

Description[?]:

We, the Jelbék Knstatak Krsyigad, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. We propose them on the grounds that there are 17 empty seats in the Imperial Assembly, and we believe that these should be filled. Futhermore two new parties have emerged and we feel that they should be allowed to present themselves to the electorate, similarly two parties have collapsed and their supporters should be given the opportunity to renew their mandates with valid political parties. Finally no new legislation has been put forward for a while, so it will not harm the Assembly to go to the polls, nor will it hurt the government to ask for a new mandate.

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval.
