| Message | We normally urge our representatives to follow our current ideological grounds. Yet we have encountered an exception. On the issue of personal freedoms, we have been supporting local responsibility to form such difficult decisions. But to sway for this legislature is not unheard of. Our party used to have a long history of nationally supported liberal freedoms. But the reasoning behind this shift is yet to be explained. The change in vote reflects a change in ideology. Our party's ideal upon this bill's inception was that of local responsibility. New information had us realize that hope, and change, may be found in this freedom to express one's love. Change may represent new ideologies. This change embodies our recently expressed ideal to stand by the progressive bloc, to prove that freedom isn't free. (ooc: freedom isn't free...that's a pretty good pun!) |
