Bill: Child Labor

Details

Submitted by[?]: Reformed Conservative Party of Lodamun

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2644

Description[?]:

The RCPL does not support sweatshops, or children working in factories. However, there are many positions that teenagers are capable of working in, and are currently being prevented from doing so in regards to our current laws. These positions are low-risk, highly safe, and often entry-level positions that will give valuable work experience to these soon-to-be-adults. We believe that these regulations can best be imposed by local governments.

MessageOur children are required to attend school. This isn't stopping learning in any way or form. Rather, it is offering them new opportunities to learn by DOING.

MessageIf this bill came with some regulations by the national government, we may consider voting in favor but in its current form, we oppose.

MessageIf that's the case, the LP should propose: "Child labour is allowed, but with additional regulations to those of adult labourers." The URP might support that option, but reserves the right to oppose.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
